What We Do

Nature & Spirit Center offers resources for devotion.

Whoever a person believes God is, one thing remains consistent: the path to God is one of devotion. Although it may look different from one person or people group to another, the importance of the disposition of their hearts remains the same. Lives of prayer, practice, awareness, and integration are universal in how the Divine communes with and transforms humanity. Religious leaders who’s lives are absent of conscious practice like these are typically ones who destroy religion’s credibility. Loving devotion changes lives. Not dogma.

What are resources for devotion?

“Resources for devotion” are practices, exercises, and experiences that draw us magnetically to our highest perspectives and behaviors.

Prayer

Prayer is what is happening. Wherever we are placing our hopes, or our fears, is what the act of prayer looks in our lives, from the Divine’s perspective. Words matter very little. We’ve compiled a few brief prayer practices and made them available here.

Sound Ceremony

Nature & Spirit offers regular gatherings in Langley, WA.

Meditation

Meditation is a free and bountiful resource. Everything can be a mediation.

Nature & Spirit offers meditation music, guided audio meditations, online classes, and meditation retreats.

Retreats

Retreats are a wonderful way of disrupting personal or behavioral cycles and patterns. “Retreats” are not vacations, but very restful periods of time in loving devotion.

Regression Hypnosis

Regression hypnosis is an act of quieting the mind to allow space for the spirit to speak.

Some thoughts…

The present moment is the language of God.

All acts of devotion start with calling us home, to the present moment, in the presence of God and self. Nature and Spirit.

There’s very little in our world that encourages individuals to live with devotion, but more and more people are waking up to the raising of their consciousness. We need resources for the journey.

Throughout each lifetime, every person’s idea of God transforms from an immature one to one of true humility and maturity. Having the correct idea or concept of God, then, is of less importance than it is to simply practice loving God and each other, both Nature & Spirit. We practice devotion to there being only One Spirit, in all and through all, of all names and beyond all names, before time and after time, before religion and after religion. Before Christ, and after Christ, and including Christ. Before, after, and including all incarnations in and throughout creation. God is the I Am, in all and through all. We are living God’s own experience of life through us. That is why loving God in community with others is such an uplifting experience for the mind and soul.

Devotion is a disposition of the heart, not an act of the body. One can sit in stillness, doing “nothing” as an act of devotion, and it can transform the world. One can busily hunt down manifestations of dreams and goals as an act of devotion. We can perform any act as an act of devotion, but we are not acting in a vacuum, Life/the Divine responds to our actions.

Disconnecting from busyness, screens, and information to spend time observing, enjoying, and experiencing Nature & Spirit, in all and through all.

Our Mission

God is center everywhere, circumference nowhere.

Nature & Spirit Center is a nonprofit focused on providing accessible practices and experiences of spiritual devotion to God, in all and through all, in both Nature & Spirit. It is not our definitions that God is concerned with, but our indifference. Having communal and personal rhythms of worship, praise, meditation, chanting, prayer, and living a Centered life bring a person to being more fully alive and in relationship with God. Resourcing and nurturing devotion to God within the collective and the individual is at the Center of Nature & Spirit.
